Another Mahindra on the block
The year 2011 is lined up with launches of new models across the board. Just like the previous year the Sports Utility Segment (SUV) is all set to see the launch of a number of new models. Recently, a popular auto magazine published the spy shots of a Mahindra & Mahindra SUV testing in Bangalore. From the pictures the Mahindra’s new world SUV looks like it would fall in the premium SUV segment and would be up against the off-roaders and soft-roaders of the segment. According to speculations the SUV is likely to be powered by the mHawk engine that does duty in the company’s successful off-roader Scorpio. The engine is expected to be tuned to produce more power than the Scorpio falling in the140 to 160 bhp range.
